Out with the Old, In with the New

It's always exciting when you get new parts - even if it's just a radiator. Although it's not an original Honda OEM replacement part (no longer available), Denso is a very reputable brand so we're confident it's going to cool Nancy for many years to come.

We toyed with the idea of getting a performance aluminum radiator from brands like Koyo and Mishimoto but at the end of the day, we didn't think it was necessary to provide race-grade cooling for our stock 1.6 liter

What a difference. We'll also be installing new hoses and a new thermostat. All these things will keep our workhorse d16a6 nice and cool for years and years.

Some light cleaning of the fan assembly and we're back in business.
